At Professional Rubber Surfaces, we aim to ensure a smooth and reliable delivery experience for our customers across mainland UK. Below is everything you need to know about our delivery process, options, and important considerations.
Delivery Options

Palletline Delivery Service
- Available to most mainland UK postcodes, except specific areas listed below.
- Delivered via tail lift lorry, with pallets offloaded and positioned using a manual pallet trolley.

Please Note: This is a kerbside delivery service and requires:
- A flat, level, and solid tarmac or concrete road or driveway
- Adequate access for a large lorry (larger than a standard dustbin lorry)

Bulk Bag Delivery
- Dispatched via palletline for kerbside delivery, or via Moffett or Hiab offload depending on location and order size.

Loose Loads
- For larger quantities, loose loads can be tipped directly into your designated area.

Delivery Restrictions
We deliver to most mainland UK postcodes. However, the following postcodes are excluded from our standard delivery service:
Excluded Postcodes:
AB / DD / DG / EH / EX / FK / GY / G / HS / IM / IV / JE / KW / KA / PA / PH / PO / PL / SA / TA / TD / TQ / TR / ZE / Isle of Wight.

Delivery Schedule
- Dispatch Week: Once your order is placed, you’ll receive confirmation of the next available dispatch week.
- Notification: We’ll contact you during your dispatch week to confirm shipment.
- Delivery Timeframe: Deliveries usually arrive within 48 hours of dispatch (excluding weekends).
Important Information
Planning Ahead
Please allow plenty of time for delivery and any unforeseen delays before booking installers, labour, or organising events such as children’s parties on the rubber surface. We strongly advise not booking workforce until your order has been delivered and checked.
How Delivery Takes Place
- All deliveries are made via the pallet network on a tail lift lorry, with pallet trolley.
- Goods are not delivered with a crane facility and cannot be lowered over fences or similar.
- Deliveries cannot be made to the rear of properties due to access restrictions.
- The road must be wide enough for an 18t curtain-sided lorry (similar to a dustbin lorry).
- If your access is restricted, please contact our office on 01782 204245 as soon as possible.
- Drivers only have a legal obligation to offload goods onto the roadside. At this point, liability and responsibility for the goods passes to the customer.
- Please note: Drivers do not work for Professional Rubber Surfaces. We use the nationwide pallet network. Drivers will endeavour to place pallets into your driveway if the surface is suitable (concrete, paving, or tarmac).

Important Restrictions:
- Pallet trucks cannot pass over gravel or rough terrain.
- Drivers cannot be expected to pull goods up/down sloping driveways or over kerbs.
- Ground and road must be flat, level, and solid (tarmac or concrete).
- Broken concrete, gravel, or sloping ground is unsuitable. In such cases, pallets may only be left roadside if safe.
- If delivery cannot be completed due to access issues (e.g., parked cars, low branches, cables), goods will be returned to the depot and a redelivery charge will apply.
- Deliveries can take place between 8am and 6pm. Professional Rubber Surfaces cannot be held responsible for delays. Please ensure workforce is not booked until delivery is complete.
- We highly recommend requesting a sample before purchasing, as pallet returns are costly. Refunds will only cover the cost of the rubber, not haulage.
Access Requirements
If delivery cannot be completed due to restricted access or an unsuitable surface, we cannot be held responsible for any delays or additional costs. Please ensure your location is accessible and meets kerbside delivery criteria.
Returns
- We recommend ordering a sample before purchasing to ensure suitability.
- Returns are accepted, but return delivery costs via palletline will apply.
