How safe are our rubber play bark chippings?
We believe that there is no formal requirement or standard for an impact absorbing surface to be used in a residential situation, therefore you should carry out your own risk assessment to your individual circumstances.
NB Commercial or public areas are covered by more detailed requirements BS EN1176 relating to the loose-fill impact absorbing products, requiring greater depths of all loose-fill products in a public environment. In accordance with BS EN 1177 (2008) an additional 100mm of material should be included to allow for displacement in use.
Coloured Rubber Play Bark Delivery
All bulk bags will be sent via a pallet line company, on a tail lift vehicle with pallet trolley off load, this is classed as a kerb side delivery. These deliveries are made via a tail lift lorry and the pallets are offloaded and moved into position via a manual pallet trolley. This service is classed as a kerbside delivery and you must have a flat, level and solid tarmac or concrete road / drive. The road must be wide enough for a lorry to fit down, usually wider and larger than a dustbin lorry.
